Community Skate on the Dufferin Marsh

Every year on the second Saturday in February, the Dufferin Marsh Nature Committee welcomes everyone to the Marsh for Skating, hotdogs, hot chocolate and delicious Fair Trade coffee from the Grackle Coffee Company (on Main St. in Schomberg).

The ice surface is large enough that there is room for both pleasure skating and a separate area for smaller kids to play shinny.

There is a portable firepit set up on the ice surface, so participants can either skate, nosh on hotdogs and marshmallows, or keep warm with the fire and hot beverages.

For more information about the Community Skate, or about other activites at the Dufferin Marsh, please visit the Dufferin Marsh website at www.dufferinmarsh.ca.
